“After completing a Masters in Statistics from the University of Oxford, I worked as a Research Engineer at AI Labs, American Express. My research at the labs revolved around analysing the statistical properties of fairness-aware classification algorithms.

Going forward, I am keen on designing statistically and computationally sound algorithms for non-standard learning tasks (eg: non-decomposable objectives, fairness/ privacy constraints). Besides this, I am open to exploring different areas in learning theory and statistics. I am pursuing my fellowship under the guidance of Dr. Harish Guruprasad.

In my spare time, I do my best to read outside of my field, stay fit and not overthink everything under the sun! "
