EdTech Tulna is a research-backed EdTech Evaluation Index housed at Wadhwani School of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, IIT Madras, designed to foster evidence-based and quality-led adoption of education technology in India and globally. EdTech Tulna works with governments, investors, and product companies to enable the adoption of high-impact EdTech. This pioneering initiative was launched in 2021 by Central Square Foundation, in collaboration with IIT Bombay as the founding academic partner.

The EdTech Tulna framework has been adopted by 10 government EdTech procurement instances, valued at over ~1,700 Crores. EdTech Tulna aims to improve the quality of learning solutions reaching public-school classrooms. EdTech Tulna also conducts independent and objective evaluations of EdTech products.
